WHS Students place in TI Innovator and Rover Challenge

Caleb and Andrew came in 2nd place in Division II at the 1st Annual TI Innovator and Rover Challenge on March 13, 2019 hosted by math teachers at McAlester High School. High school and middle school students from southeastern Oklahoma were invited to compete and about 30 teams registered. The students were given 10 different challenges to code the TI Nspire Calculator, the TI Innovator Hub, and the TI Innovator Rover and earn assigned points. This type of challenge is the first in the world since the TI Innovator Rover was introduced by TI one and a half years ago. McAlester HS plans to expand the challenge, and with TI's help, would like to make this a national event.
