Notice: Return to In-Person Learning

Wilburton Public Schools – November 13, 2020

Notice: Return to In-Person Learning

Wilburton Public Schools (WPS) is excited to announce that all campuses will be returning to in-person learning on Monday, November 16, 2020. All contact tracing and notification have been completed per OSDH and WPS policy. If you have not been notified, then your child was not identified as a close contact of a COVID positive. The elementary positive case was in a third-grade classroom. That classroom has been quarantined until November 24. The high school also had a positive case, and all contact tracing has been completed. Those students are quarantined until November 24. All campuses have been cleaned and disinfected. We believe one of our greatest responsibilities is to communicate transparently with you and the community. We are continuing to follow the CDC, OSDH, and WPS COVID-19 guidelines to mitigate the spread of COVID-19 in the school setting. Thank you for your patience and understanding during this time.

Dr. Trice Butler, Superintendent
