Wilburton Public Schools Presents:

Student Alumni Spotlight

Kendall McAlester – Class of 2016

I am a 2016 graduate of Wilburton High School. During high school, I played baseball and basketball as well as a member of the skeet shooting team. I was a national honor society member as well.

After high school I decided to follow in the foot steps of my father and pursued a career in HVAC/R. I attended OSUIT and received my associates in applied science for HVAC/R in 2018. After college, I went to work for Wal-Mart as an HVAC and commercial refrigeration technician in the Fort Smith area where I am still currently employed. I am in charge of servicing all HVAC and refrigeration on several stores in the Fort Smith and surrounding areas.

Aside from my career, I was recently married to my wife Alexus in December 2020. We are active members in our church (Lighthouse Assembly of God) in Red Oak. We both serve on the worship team as well as being youth leaders.
