Kaycee Hollingback – Class of 2018

Kaycee Hollingback is a 2018 graduate of WHS. She is attending Southeastern Oklahoma State University on both a rodeo scholarship and an academic scholarship. She is majoring in Elementary Education and was recently named a National Intercollegiate Rodeo Association American Scholar. She competes in goat tying and breakaway roping for the Savage Storm.

Between practice and school, she works at Durant Stockyards and J.Price Energy Services. After graduation, Kaycee hopes to pursue a teaching career or continue working in the energy field. Kaycee has recently competed in the Last Chance American Qualifier and earned two qualifying spots to The American slack performance.

During the slack performance, she competed against approximately 460 other women for a chance to compete in the top 40 of the Semi-finals. Kaycee placed sixth in the Semifinals and earned a spot to run for the $100,000 in RFDtv’s The American.

In good times and in bad, Kaycee lives by the mantra that everything happens for a reason. Sometimes, we just have to dig deep to find it.
